Here are some of my favorite picks for the many Christmas parties on the schedule over the next couple of weeks. What says Christmas than a touch of glitter and red? It’s no wonder it’s my favorite time of year!

5: bite beauty– my favorite lipstick! 6: Zara 7: Zara 8: Mango

Here’s a few things on my wishlist!  Clearly I’m still lusting after a few more black and gold pieces!  I know I’ve discussed my love of bite on here before, but for the money it’s still my go-to lipstick. Can’t get enough!

What’s on your wishlist this week?

Baroque Trends

One of my favorite parts of cooler temps is the extra drama I get to add to my wardrobe. This season, 17th century style seems to have made a comeback. And I’m totally cool with it.

While Dolce & Gabbana is definitely rocking the baroque trend on the runways, it’s easy to find all gorgeous options at every price point. The gold skirt from Topshop and the peplum shirt next to it are even half off!  Fortunately, it’s easy to add to modern wardrobes. I plan on switching out some simple accessories for some over-the-top pieces like these, and adding a little drama everywhere else.

What about you? Are you loving the baroque trend?

Cozy Hats

One of my favorite things about the weather turning colder this week [thanks Sandy] is that it allows me to wear more hats, including this one. If there are two things I have a weakness for, it’s probably hats and sequins. No matter the occasion, I love wearing hats. Whether they’re dressy, Kate-inspired fascinators, cozy hats, fedoras, and everything in between, I have a solid collection of hats but I’m always willing to add more!
What do you think? Do you love winter hats?

Amazeballs and a little sheepish

{amazeballs – only $7!!} {sheepish} {clutch} {skirt} {flame heels}

I came across these heels on Topshop, and thought they were so fun. Then I came

across the sweater and it reminded me so much of Claudia Kishi. I will never get over

my love of Babysitters Club nostalgia! I specifically remember her wearing a similar

sweater back in the day! Somehow, that makes me like it so much more.

I didn’t mean to make this an outfit, I just loved each individual

piece and had to include them all – amazeballs! glitter heels!

sheepish! extra zippers! plus an adorable skirt.

It’s Friday. You know how I think Fridays should be celebrated?  That’s right.

With sequins. And glitz.

And maybe even some extra glamour.

All of these pieces found their way into my favorites this week. I knew there were a

couple pieces I loved that were decked out in sequins, but it wasn’t until I started

putting this post together that I realized the extent of my sequin desire.

It’s even more than normal! I can’t decide on a favorite, I just know any of them

would be perfect for a weekend.

See these and other things I’m loving by following me over at Currently Obsessed.

Happy Friday, y’all!
