Fashion Night Out {Part 1}

I had a great time at Fashion Night Out last Thursday. Here’s a summary of my night from Instagram. Later this week I’ll do an outfit post with what I wore -and also what I bought!

(Like that wasn’t going to happen.)

Also, since my husband/photographer is back in town after travelling for work for the past few weeks, outfit posts should return!

A Cut Above the Rest

Over the weekend, a friend hosted a surf n turf party. Since he’s a Massachusetts native, I knew he would have a different take on the seafood that I grew up loving, and he makes what just might be the best steak in the city so I was definitely excited despite the heat!

{necklace| Francesca’s} {sunnies| Oakley special edition}

No wonder I was excited!

This was all that was left after a plate full of shrimp. Even these didn’t last too much longer.

How cute is that pillow?

Life Lately

Here’s an update on our activities, according to my iPhone. We had a wonderful 4th of July, complete with water and fireworks.

Lastly, Saturday morning rituals and a fantastic Trader Joe’s product. I just love, love, love the name!

One of my favorite parts of summer is seeing my calendar full of fun plans with friends and travel. Frequent travel (summer weddings, anyone?) can be a hit to the budget, but fortunately all of these pieces are  steals under $50! Most are actually about $30, so no matter how many road trips, vacations, or weddings you have this summer, you’ll look like you splurged more than you saved!

Oh, and Dorothy Perkins is having a sale on their already low priced dresses! Check them out here.

You can find some of these and other pieces I’m loving over at Currently Obsessed.

Some Dancing Required

On Wednesday, Grae and I went to the National Building Museum for AEI’s Annual Dinner. It was my first time in this venue, and I loved it! I couldn’t get over how gorgeous it is. It is my new favorite –  I kind of want to move in there.

Their annual dinner is my absolute favorite because 4 years ago that’s where I met Grae.

 We’re obviously pretty big fans in the Stafford house.

How gorgeous is this place?

 Yours truly!

Some dancing skills required.

We had a great time between the wonderful speakers and delicious dinner. We even got in a few dances before we called it a night. After all, this girl had work!

Oh- I have something exciting in the works for this little blog so stay tuned! Details soon.
